The general public and regulated companies in Rotuma (Republic of Fiji) are hereby informed that, starting from May 1, 2015, the new Customer Protection Act 2009 will come into effect. This law requires all regulated companies to display the Rotuma logo, along with their company license number, on their business premises and websites. Companies that fail to comply with this law after May 1, 2015, may face fines of up to 100,000 USD, license revocation, or both. The FSA ROTUMA security logo may be used by all companies holding a valid license issued by Rotuma or local regulatory authorities. The logo includes the license number, and its validity can be verified by clicking on the logo.
