Rotuma, known for its stunning natural beauty, cultural heritage, vibrant marine life, and diverse wildlife, is an island in the Republic of Fiji. It has an area of 44.56 km² and is located approximately 465 kilometers north of Fiji's main islands in the Pacific Ocean. The highest point on Rotuma is Mount Vainalot, reaching 251 meters above sea level.

Rotuma is one of Fiji's outer islands, located to the north of the main Fiji archipelago. The population is around 2,000 people, and the capital of Rotuma is Ahau. The people of Rotuma belong to the Rotuman ethnic group, with a unique culture that blends Polynesian, Melanesian, and Fijian influences.
